Photo : MzVee Snubbed For Wearing African Print?

Eurostar are in for some controversy as people begin to scrutinise their recent list of best dressed female celebs at the VGMA’s.

Mzvee caught people’s eyes on the night with her beautiful yet simple kente garment, yet the ‘Daavi’ hitmaker was nowhere to be found when the Eurostar fashion review team drew up their much hyped list after the show.

The four famed ‘power rangers’, and other ladies such as Amanda Jissih and Benedicta Gafah made the final list, but not Mzvee and her indigenous attire.

The question has been lighting up social media and rapper Okyeame Kwame is now asking the same question. In a post on social media Saturday, the ‘rap doctor’ wondered:

I humbly want to ask Eurostar why MzVee is missing in their list of “10 Best Dressed Female Celebs At VGMA” this year? Is it because she was cladded in a traditional, African wear? Is this not classy enough to earn her a spot?”

Many commenters indicate they agree with OK’s sentiments, asking the same question over whether the newly crowned ‘Daavi’ was snubbed due to her decision to go local.
