African creative entrepreneur, fashion designer and performing artist, Liz-Ogumbo-Regisford, is set to showcase The Liz Ogumbo Denim Collection tonight at the South African Fashion Week (SAFW).

The Liz Ogumbo Denim Collection is a classic collection of well-tailored quality denim worked on collaboratively by Liz Ogumbo & Eji Benson (New York), exhausting the best of two worlds; The Liz Ogumbo style aesthetic and production development through Ennui NYC via Fashion Lab Africa.

This denim collection employs wardrobe versatility through the variety of styles available in this collection while Liz flirts with a variety of different colours, textures and styles.

Liz Ogumbo is set to debut a runway mash up of her easy-listening “indie” track ‘Denimania,’ produced by Xander Pratt strictly for the runway tonight. DeniMania will be available on her new album; KenSoul, The Lotus Chapter.

This denim line is curated from a carefully selected variety of denim made to suit different body types and lifestyles. Ghana’s multiple awards winning fashion guru, Oheneba Yaw Boamah of the famous menswear marque Abrantie TheGentleman blessed the ramp at the Glitz Africa Fashion Week 2017, held in Accra, the capital city of the republic of Ghana.

Abrantie TheGentleman presented at Glitz Africa Fashion Week an outstanding 20 diverse looks, off his most recent “ABT.Classique” clothing assortment, colorful inspired by Vlisco prints.

The ABT.Classique collections consist of casuals, kaftans, blazers and cultural/tradional looks.

Melissa WINS Jump On Glitz Fashion Competition!

Last weekend marked the Glitz Africa Fashion Weekend and the grand finale of the Jump on Glitz emerging fashion designer competition. The competition was run by Jump by Busy in partnership with Glitz Africa to discover, nurture and jumpstart the fashion careers of talented fashion designers.

Jump is a youth empowerment initiative launched by Busy to support the Ghanaian youth by providing them with information in education, entrepreneurship, lifestyle and inspiration & self-improvement.

From over 100 entries, rounds of design presentations, master class and internship sessions and a runway show, Melissa Arthur emerged the winner, with Nana Kweku Agyenim-Boateng as the 1st runner-up and Belinda Ofori as the 2nd runner- up.

Ghanaian fashion brand Le Bon Collections is celebrating five years of growth and success in the country's fashion industry.

The fashion house which has been in operation since 2012 has been contributing to the industry in various ways and is also poised to break new grounds as it celebrates its milestone.

Last Saturday it held a sizable fashion event at Le Bon's outfit located at Dzorwulu opposite the Mediferm Hospital, not far from Sid Theatre in Accra to celebrate with its clients, who kept the fashion house in business in the last five years.
